Why Nasal Polyps Occur and How to Treat Nasal Polyp Naturally ?

Hình ảnh
Allergic fungal rhinosinusitis (AFRS) forms a subset of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) that is mainly characterized by eosinophilic nasal polyps, allergic mucin detected in the sinuses at surgery, and specific features on computerized tomography. Which biological markers predict disease recurrence in AFRS is still not clear, and the role of blood inflammatory cells in predicting recurrent polyps after surgery has yet to be investigated. The aim of this study was to newly investigate the prognostic role (in terms of recurrence rate) of preoperative blood eosinophil and basophil levels in AFRS. A consecutive series of 17 adult patients who underwent endoscopic sinus surgery for AFRS was retrospectively assessed. In this study, Nasal polyps recurred in 15 of 17 patients . Considering the whole cohort, a significant positive correlation emerged between blood eosinophil and basophil counts, but not between blood and tissue eosinophil counts. Statistical analysis found sig

Staphylococcus aureus is a frequent colonizer of the upper airways in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps, but also resides intramucosally; it has been shown that secreted staphylococcal proteins such as enterotoxins and serine proteases induce the release of cytokines such as IL-5.  Recent study have analyzed nasal polyp tissue freshly obtained during routine surgery, which did or did not contain cultivatable S. aureus, to study spontaneous IL-5 production by nasal polyp tissue over 24 and 72 h in tissue culture. In S. aureus-positive samples was interfered by killing the bacteria using antibiotics or S. aureus specific intravenous staphylococcal phages (ISP), active or heat-inactivated This study also demonstrate that cultivatable S. aureus may be found in type-2 inflamed nasal polyps; the pathogen is replicating within 24 h and secretes proteins, including enterotoxins and serine proteases. The presence of S. aureus was associated with a significantly higher release of IL-5. Ki

Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a major health care problem that affects from 0.5% to 4% of the generalpopulation Nasalo Polyps leads to high management costs and poor quality of life of affected subjects and shows a wide diversity ofinflammatory  phenotypes.   Studies  have  demonstrated  thateosinophil infiltration and TH2-biased cytokine profiles are keyfeatures of white patients with  Nasalo Polyps whereas nasal polyps  from southern Chinese patients have been shown to becharacterized by neutrophilic inflammation and a significant increase in TH1/TH17 cell pattern. Given the inflammatory nature of Nasal Polyps, corticosteroids aretypically regarded as the mainstay of medical treatment forthis condition.Although topical intranasal steroid sprayshave  proved  to  be an effective  treatment  for  Nasal polyps and maintain a minimal risk profile,long-term administration of nasal spray is necessary to obtain apersistent therapeutic effect.  Furthermore, despite p

There is little evidence on the efficacy of glucocorticoid transnasal nebulization therapy in patients with eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps. In recent study,  scientists sought to evaluate the immunologic andremodeling effects of budesonide transnasal nebulization inpatients with eosinophilic Nasal Polyps Sixty patients with eosinophilic Nasal Polyps wererandomized to receive budesonide or placebo treatment for14 days by means of transnasal nebulization in a double-blindmanner. Endoscopic polyp size scores (maximum56 points, Kennedy score) and visual analog scale scores for nasals ymptoms were assessed before and after treatment. Similarly, polyp samples were evaluated for inflammatory cytokines, matrix metallo proteinases (MMPs), and tissue inhibitors ofmetalloproteinases (TIMPs) by using an immuno assay;collagen by using histochemistry; eosinophils by using hematoxylin and eosin stain; and T-cell subsets by using flow cytometry. In conclustion,  Short-term budeson

Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis (CRSwNP) frequently coexists with asthma. This analysis examined improvements inquality of life (QoL) in patients with Nasal Polyps and comorbid asthmatreated with this natural way  versus placebo. Analyses were conducted in a pre-specified subgroup ofpatients with corticosteroid-refractory Nasal Polyps and comorbid asthma enrolled in phase III, placebo-controlled, 24-week, trials of omalizumab,P OLYP1 (n574) and POLYP2 (n577). The odds of achieving minimallyimportant difference (MID;>_0.5 points) in the Asthma Quality of Life  (AQLQ) at Week 24 and mean change from baseline toWeek 24 in the sino-nasal outcome test At baseline, mean  Quality of Life scores were 4.6 (1.4) and 5.1(1.3) and mean SNOT-22 scores were 62.2 (18.0) and 61.7 (17.3) inpatients with asthma from POLYP1 and POLYP2. Omalizumab-treatedpatients were significantly more likely than placebo-treated patients toachieve MID in AQLQ in each study. In the pooled population, the o

Nose Polyps ( Nasal Polyps ) is characterized by persistent inflam-mation of the sinus, with hyperplasia of the sinus-lining cells that interact with blood-derived cells. Accordingly, nosal polyps demonstrate histologicfeatures that are similar to those in patients with chronic sinusitis.   The development of nose polyps is known to be a complex, multifactor process characterized by inflammation of the sinus mucosa. For example, the sinus mucosaand nasal polyps are associated with atopy. Nose Polyps is defined as sinus inflammation per-sisting for more than 8 to 12 weeks. It is known that the development of nasal polyps is a complex multi factor process characterized by inflammation of the nasal and sinus mucosae. 86 patients with Nose polyps were enrolled consecutively in recent study. The diagnosis was mainly based on pathological examination. After using this method , At the clinical visit, the patients gave an overall assessmentof their rhinitis symptoms.
